Shouldn't you be using multiple iSCSI targets on the NAS? iSCSI targets are designed to be used by one machine at a time and connecting from multiple machines can cause data corruption.
You might want to read up some more on VMWare to see how you should configure connecting multiple hosts to the one target for failover purposes (I assume that should be possible with the appropriate licence).

The iqn for your initiator should be shown in the vSphere client.
