Volume not expanding with addition of larger disks
I have been running a ReadyNAS Pro Business Edition [X-RAID2] with 6 2Tb drives installed for a couple of years and have been very happy with it but am now feeling the need to expand its capacity. In reading up on this it appeared that since it is running X-RAID2, all I would need to do is to swap out drives one at a time for drives with larger capacity. Thus one at a time I added 2 new WD 3Tb Red drives. Unfortunately once it finished resyncing each of the drives they both still only show 1858 Gbs allocated, and the volume is still the same size.
Is there another step that I am missing or perhaps something else that I need to do to utilize the full capacity of the new drives?

- fastfwdVirtuosoSometimes it takes a couple of reboots for the array to expand... And if you're running dual-redundancy (XRAID2 configured as RAID6), you'll have to add 2 more 3TB drives before you see an expansion.
