WebDAV, error indicated the folder is not valid.
I am trying to test WebDAV on a ReadyNAS Duo v2. I found a tutorial here:
http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/12255
But it does not help me much as my system does not have the same 'Frontview' interface.
I am seeing the following version numbers when I log in:
Firmware = RAIDiiator 5.3.7
Dashboard version = 1.0.0.264
I have a share called 'Data'.
In the 'Sharing Protocols' section I have selected [X] HTTP
In the 'Share Access' section there is a list where I can add IP addresses. Is this a black list or a white list?
On my (windows 7) laptop, when I try to connect to the share (http://10.134.212.8/Data), it prompts me for a username / password twice, then gives an error indicating "The folder you entered does not appear to be valid. Please choose another."
I hope I have provided sufficient information, any assistance that anyone can provide will be GREATLY appreciated!
Thank you,
~ Brian

- halon314AspirantHas anybody experience similar difficulty?
- TutenStainAspirantSame problem here. Anyone?
- gyorgysAspirantMap it as a network drive
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2560598 - Peppie25AspirantI also have this problem. Map it as a networkdrive doesn't solve this (gives same errormessage). I used a win8.1, android and win7 as clients to connect.
I have a Readynas 102 and ReadynasOS 6.9 RC11
How to solve this? - Peppie25AspirantHé, i somehow got it working!
At Services click on http and at 'Redirect web access to this folder' one of the shares you have Webdav-enabled. Click Apply and try to connect to that share with http.
Then Redirect web access back to 'None selected' and webdav works for all shares that are webdav-enabled.
HTTPS also works --> click HTTPS (Services) and point the SSL Key Host to the IP of the NAS itself.
