I wanted to try something a little different here by posing a question and seeing what kinds of answers we all come up with together.

In no particular order...
- where do you plan to put it?
- Are you using it for business or for home?
- What apps are you thinking about running?
- Do you need real-time transcoding (followed up by details on resolution, etc)?
- How much storage do you think you need?
- How are you using the storage (access by VM, backup, primary storage,...)?
I wouldn't remove anything from the selector.
You might want to add something on VM/EXSi 6. Memory would be a factor if you want to run a lot of apps (or if you want to future-proof your investment). Warranty is something to consider too.
