- dbott67GuideThe official BT client may have been removed in more recent versions of the firmware, as it had not been updated in a while. A better option is to grab the community-developed Transmission add-on: http://www.readynas.com/?p=1786
On the off-chance that you`re running older firmware or it`s already installed (or I`m just flat-out wrong about BT being removed), you can access the official BT client at http://ip.address.of.nas:8080/.
Official ReayNAS add-ons are here: http://www.readynas.com/?cat=36
Community developed P2P add-ons are here: http://www.readynas.com/?cat=62 - silvercueAspirantThanks.
http://ip.address.of.nas:8080/ most certainly does not work.
I am running latest firmware. I will be extremely disappointed if the BT client is not there anymore as that was one of the most important selling points for me and it is advertised everywhere as having a BT client.
Can anyone confirm please? - chirpaLuminaryThe stock BitTorrent Inc torrent client has been removed from the firmware.
I suggest you check out uTorrent or Transmission in the community add-ons, they are better maintained.

viewtopic.php?f=36&t=45059 - silvercueAspirantThanks I will do that.
Extremely annoyed this product advertised everywehere as having a Torrent Client.
Disgusted tbh. - chirpaLuminaryYou can install the BItTorrent Inc add-on, but we don't recommend it anymore since they no longer support it. When this product line was released, it was supported at that time, we can't predict the future.
That client has its limitations, but works 90% of the time for the general public. If you want newer features and help on issues, the alternative clients I mentioned are the best way to go.
