Why upgrade to OS6?
Sorry if this is a silly question but there are so many threads to read and I haven't come across a simple summarisation regards the benefits of upgrading to OS6. I have an ultra 4 plus that I use ...
Hi! I've used OS6 on my Ultra 4 since June 2014. Never had any major issues at all. Fan speeds work fine, absolutely no problem. With OS4 I did use an USB attached printer but since that's not supported in Legacy OS6 I simple connected it to my router instead.
I enjoy the new graphical layout in the OS and it feels a little more "future proof" in regards to security etc.
I did have some file access troubles on one folder but this forum helped me to quickly resolve it.
I use my Ultra 4 mainly to store pictures and share media, mostly FLAC-media from my own music collection. I also use Subsonic and Mysql for XBMC (Now known as Kodi).
