Can I add any size HDD now without factory reset?
The disks you add need to be the same capacity as existing disks or larger. OS6 for x86_64 does not have the expansion limitations which RAIDiator-x86 4.2.x had.

How to update future firmware? Does it update as per any other supported OS6 device
Yes, when an update is put on our update server and you open the Dashboard you will be prompted to update. You can follow the prompts to update. Alternatively you can use the same image used for our current x86_64 images to manually update.

or do I manually update each time?
The OS4 to OS6 image is only used as a one-off. The header is modified to make it appear to be OS4 firmware so RAIDiator-x86 4.2.x will accept it. Likewise the downgrade image to go back to 4.2.x is modified to appear to be a 6.2.x image so OS6 will accept it.
