Windows 8 won't connect to ReadyNAS NV+

I've seen some posts other places that suggest that this is a Microsoft issue (which hopefully will be fixed soon). Maybe wait for patch Tuesday (12/10/2013) before doing anything. Then make sure the Win8 is up to date (the fix might not be in the critical category).
One thought is to try disabling SMB3 and/or SMB2 on the windows machine. There are instructions here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2696547
Obviously if this doesn't help, you should re-enable them.
