I did find this workaround that seems to be working temporarily:
Start > Run > "rundll32.exe keymgr.dll,KRShowKeyMgr"
From there you can manage the stored username/passwords for all shares and network drives.
I added an try for the ReadyNAS with the username "guest" and no password. Seems to be working for now, we'll see how long it sticks.
