Wireless Performance with WIN7 / Another Wireless router?
Hello,
I've read various posts about changing the MTU size on the wireless card of the WIN7 computer when the ReadyNas transferring speed was slow.
For some users, simply changing the wireless router device has improved the speed.
-> Do you have a specific Wireless router to suggest to correct the wireless speed issue ?
THKS !
Regards,
Tony

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserWhat are you using today (both the wired and wireless stuff) and what speeds are you getting?
Also what model ReadyNAS? - michaelcheAspirantI had the same question before, but turns out because of the my 2.4Ghz signal is surrounded by too many interfere (neighbors wifi, coreless phone, etc.) Since I bought a 5Ghz DIR 628 and use it as AP, problem solved, and I'm getting 8M/s 802.11n speed.
- Avoid the Linksys WRT610N. as a router it's top draw stuff. But the speed between it and the ReadyNAS, is not good. There are other comments supporting this. As soon as I have the money free it will be exchanged for another more NAS friendly router.
