Word / excel docs reported as being corrupted even though they are not
ReadyNAS Ultra 4 Plus - Firmare v4.2.28
I have noticed that recently that if I try to open Micosoft Office docs (Excel & Word) they sometimes get reported as corrupted by the Offoce application however, if I copy the same file to my desktop then word/excel opens the file correctly.
Any one else had this issue and know how to resolve it?

Can you please run Memory Test from boot menu? See instructions here.
Also, please check SMART status of the disks. See ATA errors increasing on disk(s) in ReadyNAS
