This means the VPD is corrupt. Only Netgear can fix it (they can do it remotely). Normal Netgear support won't, as their policy doesn't let them support legacy NAS converted to OS6.
But often the mods ( Marc_V or JeraldM ) have done this as a courtesy, so I am tagging them.
