I dont know anything about the serial but heard about it.
I have installed a video card and very covenient.
You can run xpenolgy and esxi off the internal USB easily. Ibought a much bigger USB DOM.
You can also run esxi, proxmox, ubuntu, windows server or anything on the M.2 drive.
