IPv6 is a basic function on any modern network device, wax206 should not be an exception. It will be good to have that anytime soon.

Agreed, IPv6 is a basic function and should be supported by any network device being sold today.
The only reason for IPv6 would be the administration, correct?
These WAX2xx are clearly designated as "Essentials WiFi 6 Access Point". Can you enlighten us why IPv6 should be mandatory?.
IPv6 is for Internet connectivity not needed for administration of the device per se. As time passes, some parts of the Internet will only be reachable by an IPv6 connection. Any device being sold today should be able to support both IPv4 and IPv6 for Internet connectivity. Many major Internet providers already provide both IPv4 and IPv6 to customers.
IPv6 is the next IPv4. It's used to solve the exhaustion of IPv4. And it will be the next internet and normal.
https://www.google.com/intl/en/ipv6/statistics.html here you can see that 40% of the world is already in native IPv6. IPv6 also provides lower latency because it doesn't need NAT.
IPv6 should be maniditory for any device marketed as "for home office or small office". I just owned one for less than an hour and have to return it because I need IPv6 to reach some sites that are critical to me. Its like claiming WiFi but doesn't have WAP. and then saying its for home or small office so no big deal.
As crucial as it is for having more addresses (considering alone ipv4 only has 4 billion combinations). Ipv6 is directly advantageous for direct encrypted peer to peer communications without relying on a third party. This increases a persons ability to make connections directly on the internet to 4 billion per a single users devices, instead of the -1 just based on the world population. And mostly it provides means for ISP to not interfere with connections to alloted to devices over a gateway (even monitor the communications) for net neutrality.

Academically correct.
Practically, a Wireless Access Point is just a L2 bridge. With your Internet connection supporting IPv6, there is nothing that stops any wireless client associated with the WAX206 to use IPv6 as you describe, along concurrently with and IPv4.
Still, the majority of IPv6 traffic does not silently become encrypted in IPsec.
IPv6 support as implemented does primary cover the WAX206 IPv6 management. Or do you expect more on a wireless access point?
