Dear Netgear. May I suggest a product feature?
As more and more devices require WiFi access, it’s more and more difficult to keep tabs on what, or who has access to his/her private WiFi access point. I would like to see something like two-stage authentication/permission, just like is being used for so many apps, devices and services including Apple and Google. It could be very user friendly. Have a main phone number that would be queried whenever a new request for WiFi access comes up. If permitted, the person giving access should be able then to nickname the device gaining access. That step should have the option of being followed with A) the option to make this access temporary or permanent and then B)_ the option to see the current white list of (nicknamed) access users, with easy on and off switches beside each.
