Idea: With Comcast and others quickly rolling out fiber to everyone's home, I'd like to have a HOME/Residential networking class wireless router (think Netgear X11) that supports 2GB asymmetric ports/bandwidth for wired connections. Current Netgear routers support 1GB WAN ports -- looking for a 2GB WAN port and eventually up to a 10GB WAN port since that's actually what's coming around the corner quickly. In addition, please through in a 10 gig switch in the back that will handle 10/100/1000/10000. Also, my X10 never really maxes my gigabit connection and would like to ask that some enhancements and tweaks are made to current firmware to bump the throughput up a bit. I know this is an existing issue with others so hopefully you are working on this as well.
Thanks and keep up the great work!

The next LAN standard may be terabit. You can already buy kit. As with all these things the price will eventually come down enough to bring it into routers.
