Add homekit router support to the Orbi wifi 6 mesh router
As multiple competitors start implementing homekit support for their routers (Linksys Velop mesh and Eero) and more to come, Netgear should add Apple Homekit Router support to their newest routers. I currently have the RBK852 Orbi Wifi 6 mesh router, and have multiple homekit devices. It would make a lot of sence to add my router to my Apple homekit.
I hope Netgear will add this. I really like their routers, but missing this feature is a big disadvantage and would make me change routers in the future if its not added.

I am planning on returning my Orbi RBR50 with 2 satellites (I have a couple sets of them) that I've been using if Orbi doesn't at least indicate they will support HomeKit Router. Linksys announced they would by summer so I'm eagerly awaiting when they release firmware updates to their existing line up. When they do, bye bye Orbi! Return to vendor time.

You should return your routers while you still can, and buy the Linksys Velop ones. Since they have the HomeKit functionality with a SOFTWARE UPDATE, so you can do it to netgear , but you keep ignoring us!
For anyone wanting to buy a router from a company that does listen to their costumers!

Totally with you on this! I happily returned the Orbi with extreme prejudice and picked up not only a set of Linksys Velop, I just got the Velop WiFi6 with HomeKit Enabled Router support. OMG they're amazing and love the added security and protection my home gets with HK router security.

Super stable, fast and now with added security.

Oh what was most satisfying is I returned 2 sets of Orbi (one with 3 satellites and another with 2 satellites) in exchange for 4 nodes of the Velop WiFi 6 for our homes.
