I own the Orbi tri-band RBK53 (RBR50 and two RBS50 satellites), which is WiFi-5 and has the Armor feature that can be subscribed to. I tested Armor initially for its trial period and it caused multiple issues on the performance of the WiFi, connections were being repeatedly dropped. Once I deactivated Armor, my connectivity issues were resolved. Search the Orbi community and you will see many reports of these issues, see https://community.netgear.com/t5/Orbi/Buffering-Issue-on-Newly-Installed-Orbi-RBR50/m-p/1854581#M81233 for example. It may be due Armor causing too much CPU and/or memory load on the Orbi. So unless the newer Orbi RBR850 WiFi-6 router has a more powerful CPU and/or more memory to handle the load that Armor puts on it, it may also cause it to have connectivity issues.
