Add VPN TUN option to the R7500 VPN options
Please could you consider adding the TUN profile in the OpenVPN server software already installed on the R7500 router to enable access from iOS and Android devices. This is a very practical and reasonable ask for a modern day piece of technology.
Or, create a VPN app for Android and IOS that works with the existing VPN implementation on Netgear routers.
Thanks,
Sasan

We have determined that your product is R7500v1. Unfortunately, this product is slated to get only security related updates and will not get any new development.

Hi, we do have this feature now available on other Nighthawk products such as X4S, X6, X6S. Can you please confirm if you are looking for this in R7500v2 model or R7500v1 model?

It's hard to understand how this device can be sold with the OpenVPN support. OpenVPN is not supported using OpenVPN app on the ios device impossible to connect.

I bought the R7500 specifically for OpenVPN support. I was unaware that it doesn't support connections from Android devices. I am really disappointed by this! If the R7000 supports it, how difficult would it be to add it to the R7500?

I'd also like to see this, it should be a pretty straightforward implementation. It makes no sense for us to have to run a separate server just for TUN support.

This should have been baked into it from the beginning.
Lokking for this also. The R7000 already supports this. Should be easy to port this feature to the R7500
