Advanced option to select or determine wifi frequency of devices or guest network

Hi NG,

I have just bought the NG Orbi RBR50 system with 2 extra satelites to enhance my wifi at home. After installation of the Orbi mesh system I have immediately experienced much better and faster wifi throughout my house. Very happy with this!

However, after this I started up my laptop and I wanted to play 1 of my favorite game (Path of Exile) and I was unable to connect to the game server, it is a pretty weird problem with PoE (and ONLY with this game). When I open PoE and hit log in button, after 5-10s it says "unable to connect to login server" then I lose my internet. It happens every single time when I hit log in button while I'm connected to 5GHz wifi, everything runs fine when I was on 2.4GHz or on the hotspot of my mobile ISP.

So I started looking for options in the Orbi app and website to set the allowed frequency for my laptop to 2.4GHz. Unfortunately there is no feature for this and also the orbi guest network cannot be set up as a 2.4GHz wifi only network.

Because of this I cannot play this game anymore or I need to use my mobile as wifi hotspot but then it is very laggy.

Therefore I would like to summit the idea to allow Orbi users/owners to determine for each connected device the frequency the allowed frequency used. Or give us the option to set up the Guest network as 2.4G, 5G or automated.
