Alexa Multi-room set up for Orbi Voice

Bought it for the reason of connecting all my Alexa compatible devices and being able to play music and classical tunes throughout the house and office. Unfortunately I can’t connect the Prbi Voice to multi room. Has this been solved? If not I think it would be a wonderful idea.

  • Many of us have been waiting for this for more than a year now. Still hoping it will be released soon.

  • Would be great - I wonder if it's Netgear or Amazon that is the problem.

  • Boosting the signal! Many of us purchased thinking this was already a feature. Please update

  • I agree - the advertising suggests this is already possible but I can't figure out how to do it.  Alexa doesn't see this device as a usable speaker for multi room music.  I just bought another Orbi Voice - might return it if this isn't addressed soon.  C'mon guys, it's a speaker - shouldn't be hard to do.

  • I'm thinking of returning the router system to COSTCO. I use the multi-room speaker feature all the time. The main reason for upgrading the router was to get better signals to my various echo devices so that the multi-room was more dependable.

I have wasted unspeakable hours trying to get this thing to work.

  • I sent one of them back and sold the other on Ebay for a good sized loss of money which I'm SO not happy about let me tell you.  BUT - I switched to Eero Pro and I could not be happier - it works SO much better than this system and my signal strength is perfect.  Good luck waiting on Netgear to get things right, the only thing they are really after is you buying their tech subscription and trust me you will need it.  Horrible and rude service at best.  No thanks.
