Please have all of your products include this ability. It will keep your products in service longer and keep your equipment out of the landfill.
If anyone knows of a work around that will help me solve this, please let me know.
Now you know why experienced users buy, and recommend, separate modems and routers. This is especially true of cable modem/routers, where the firmware is beyond your, and Netgear's, control.
You bought something for one purpose and now want to use it for something completely different. Netgear cannot anticipate that sort of mistake.
