Always allow hardwire computer access router portal/hub to make configuration changes

I want to always let wired connections work without being affected by Access Control setting. My view on Access Control is that Access Control is for security. there is no security concern with hardwired connections because I have physical access to the box. This feature will let us always have a way to correct configuration when things are messed up in router configuration, like when being locked out. I understand that I can set to allow a particular computer to have access, then in theory, that computer can always access the router portal. In reality, I encountered a bug in portal software when it responded very slow and I did a refresh in browser, all of sudden, the portal disabled all devices' access. I had no way to get back in and make changes. I had to reset the router and re-do the entire setup all over again. I have many devices; the setup took a lot of time. This situation could also happen when a user makes a mistake in changing the configuration and lock himself out. If the router always allows ethernet cable connection, users don't have to worry about this.

BTW, I cannot find my product Nighthawk Mesh router MR70 in "Associated Products" dropdown. I randomly selected a product., why can't i find my product?

Isn't that how it works now?

Maybe I don't understand the question. (Bit hard to follow that solid slab of uninterrupted text.)
