This is silly that every wireless router I've had for 15 to 20 years has had this and now you take it out. I want to be able to hide this. Yes I know it's easy to find but it's one less piece of information someone has up front!!!!

I bought RBK352 recently. I searchon community and web how to disable SSID, and know that this issue is long outstanding. I hope Netgear can get our voice and put this function back asap.
Disabling of SSIDs is NOT supported on Orbi systems. Newer MESH systems are based on using Smart Connect and having SSID broadcast. These are not based on old technology. Been like this for a while now. Some other Mfr have similar designs. SSID broadcast needs to be seen by the RBS and maintain a stable connection. Also hiding does nothing to hide the signal from wifi scanners. Can be easily found.
