It would be nice to be able to BLock specific devices during timeframes and not have to block all. I think Orbi is great, I just want it to have more parental control features like other Mesh Routers

yes, this feature very much needed. parental controls is very basic in this router. need to return and buy another one.

This issue has been there for 3 years. While your competitors have already implemented this feature on their products, namely, Linksys and Asus, Netgear has done nothing so far. You are really pushing your customers away and I am not joking as I am also one of those who is considering staying away from your product. Casting a vote here is my very last hope with Netgear, it's up to you guys to let us go or finally do something to put your product back in the competition.
Im very sorry that I bought this router because of the parental controls (well, lack of). Speed and coverage seem to be good but I needed the time and parental controls to work.
So mad I opened my box yesterday from Amazon... time to see how I can pack it up and send it back.

And now after 4 years..this idea/feature never going anywhere...What idea borad for?
I suggest if NetGear no going to imply this might as well supply a timer to the customer to force to shutdown the router.

That is a good idea, I know many people request this feature and I think NG just doesn't want to implement this change..
and maybe of course, it WILL in the future model, if u think about it...paying llike $140 plus for a router like this..you would expect this kind of feature already there in day 1...

I'm sure this isn't that hard to implement, as smaller companies have the option with their equipment . I don't like that I have to manually pause them from wifi. If I forget to unpause it before they go to school I have to wait until they "connect" again before being able to do so.
Please add this to the next software update.
