Wow - that stinks. So, we are left to speculate whether Netgear may or may not add Circle support. You could agrue that they will because their marketing materials suggest as such. Plus other Orbi models support Circle and it would be odd to leave out just a few variants withing the same product line - especially at the higher end. Of course, that's just speculation and even if they were to add support we have no idea of the timing. I'd like to avoid spending more money on a stand-alone Circle if Netgear will add Circle support in a few weeks. I already spent a lot of money on what I thought would satisfy my family's needs and throwing more money at this is unacceptable.
Netgear has mismanaged expectations of product features and there has been no communication to set the record straight. Being left to speculate Netgear's intentions is disappointing to say the least. In the meantime, my kids will come to see that parental controls are no longer in place and that's not cool.
