Not really possible since some or most IoT devices have supporting SW apps that needs to connect to them from mobile devices that need to connect from those devices. Isolating them from the the IoT device would render the apps useless which most IoT Mfr intend for there use with there devices. NG only provides connection for those problematic IoT devices and setup software that don't work well when connected to some MESH systems. Has been no security issues for using. If some IoT devices are perceived to be unsecure, then maybe avoid using those IoT devices.
