Device and Account name

Device name appears to propagate to the Account name

The device name set at:

Advanced > Setup > Device Name

Also sets the Account Name at:

Advanced > Setup > Internet Setup

ALSO, if one attempts to change the Account Name by using the Edit Box, it takes one to the Device Name page, but the menu still shows Internet Setup. Very sloppy.

The Device Name and the Account Name are really two different attributes of the router. The Account name is what one’s IPS may require to connect to the internet.

NB: Device Name does correctly change the path to the ReadyShare folder when permission is given by the admin.
