I want the Duma OS on my R8000 it would be nice to get a nice piece of software on my already amazing router. I just don’t want to pay another $300 for a new router when mine is perfectly fine.

Guess Netgear would have to pay Duma to write a new version and then to sell it to customers.
The XR500 is certainly expensive, even though it is essentially a tarted up R7800, which Netgear used as the test bed for Duma OS.
Netgear has added "firmware" features to existing products, Disney circle, for example. But it sells that on a subscription basis.
How much would you be prepared to pay for Duma OS?
