Hi Community,
I have been using the Parental Control feature In NetGear Router from last 1 year. It works well and I can set time limit for social media usage in my family. However it is missing an important option to allow/deny these apps on certain time frame. Let say, I would like to block social media from 10PM-8AM. But I can't see any such option. Only thing I can do is set a time limit for these apps. or block the whole internet access. Could you please bring up these feature? I think Google's Family link app is a better reference to enhance the parental control options. The issue with Google's Family link is, we can manage only kid's device (up to 12yr old).
Another thought is disable Youtube shorts on Yutube app and reels videos on Facebook. I don't think it is possible from router level. However, these are very addictive and i never found an option to block this. đ
Thanks

Enabling time slots for apps using Parental Control is a great way to manage screen time effectively. Many tools offer customizable schedules to balance usage and downtime. I came across a helpful guide on this topic at Koalageddon. Has anyone tried this feature and found it useful?
