[Feature Request] Expose Nighthawk Stats (R8000) via API

Right now the network statistics are only available via the UI and you have to jump through quite a bit of hoops to get it out, then parse the html table. Would be awesome if there was a feature to enable stats.

Ideas to add this include:

  1. a JSON api endpoint specifically made to collect and report stats.

  2. statsd reporter from the router (just configure a host/port)

Other stats could include # active connections, etc.
