User Story:
For security reasons I have my Netgear router (C3700) configured to allow only whitelisted MAC addresses onto the network under access control. Although secure, this method is also inconvenient to add a new device and/or guest access.
Suggestion:
Have the Genie app notify the user via their Android/Apple phone that a new connection was established (and immediately blocked due to explicit whitelist). Provide device name, MAC address, IP address in the notification; along with two options to approve or deny connection. If approved, the new device would have it's connection status changed to "allow" in the access control settings.
