Genie Program and Router UI needs to be updated

The genie program looks and feels really outdated. It's slow, cluttered, and not terribly pleasing to look at or use. I think it could really use a facelift. The same goes for the netgear website and the router UI. The C7000 is a great product but it cost me a lot of money. I don't feel like the software/UI is consistent with the premium price I paid.

  • I have to agree, this week I purchased the Orbi after many many years of not using any Netgear router, I was amazed that after all these years the PC Genie App looked almost identical to what I used I think 8 years ago? all apps need urgent facelifts!

    New version of genie apps were released in February 2017 with new look and functionality. We are actively looking into updating the UI.

  • I'm not talking about the app. I'm talking about the netgear genie program on Windows. It's horrible. You need to fix THAT. The mobile app is fine.
