Getting CM200 Modem added to approved modem list for Midcontinent Communications

I recently purchased the NETGEAR Nighthawk Multi-Gig Cable Modem (CM2000). Even though the amazon states that this modem is compatible with all cable providers, it is not on the approved modem list for my cable internet provider Midcontinent Communications. The modem looks great, and I would like to use it. Can I put in a request that NETGEAR try to get this added to Midcontinent's approved list. More customers would likely purchase this modem if it would get approved.

Maintaining an up to date approved list is a pain, even though it helps customers.

Have you tried using the modem with your Internet service provider? ISPs hate doing things that make life complicated or cost them money.
