Guest Network coverage in Smart Parental Controls

I begrudge having to even request this given it's such a fundamental flaw in the SPC app.

Am running RBK853 with SPC and it flat refuses to manage devices that are connected to the Guest network.

When you try adding a device you get presented with;

Smart Parental Controls is not currently supported for devices connected to the guest network. Please make sure the selected device is connected to the main WiFi network.

The RBR50 that I ran for 5 years had this capability, yet, the newer more powerful RBK853 does not. And apparently there is no ETA.

Maybe I'm the only schmuck using SPC and expecting it to actually do the job of protecting little people from the nasty stuff on the internet - even those guests that visit should be protected. Yet, NG don't see fit to roll this feature out.

Be nice to get some support for this feature, please.

PS. running the latest FW and App vsns, confirmed by NG Support.

    That's be cause,

    1. GN connections are tied to the WAN side of the router and separated from the LAN side thus not interconnect between them.

    2. GN connected device on a standard basis have a limited time span so guest are usually only connected to the GN for a short period of time. Nothing long term so would be no reason to manage GN devices with the SPC app.

    3. Something I presume NG limits for cost of development to LAN side only devices.
