Have a secondary safer auto mode for 2.4GHz for only channels 1-11 even more are allowed

I live in Japan and 2.4GHz channels 1-13 are allowed. However even some Japanese IOT devices only support 1-11 for some strange reason. This is also the default setting for some Japanese routers auto mode (such as Buffalo, even wifi 6 products). I can set a static channel, but due to so many others APs arround it is a bit of lottery to choose a good channel that stays good.

I assume the setting can be on the advanced setting tab.

This reads more like a request for help than a product suggestion.

If I'm right, try posting in the section that covers you (unnamed) hardware.

  • I should of been clearer in the request:

please add an option somewhere for 2.4GHz to have an auto option that limits the channel selection to 1-11, as some devices do not support channels above 11.

Users can manually set channels on routers. Some regions don't have support for channels 1-13 while others do. IF you have devices that don't support channels higher than 11, set a manual channel on the router to something that supports these devices. Channels 1, 6 or 11 is recommended.
