Give owners the option to Hide SSID. It has been a staple in wireless Routers for decades. It definitely Takes longer and some knowledge to locate the identity. To try and hack that system. I get you want a system like Apple where NETGEAR makes a plug and play product for the majority of people. But disenfranchising everyone else that would like to use the full potential of the product.

Maybe for single mode non mesh routers that works and is supported. For MESH though, you'll not see that feature as MESH is designed to be seen and operate with visable SSIDs. The RBS require it as well.
