While this is only visible if someone logs into the router's web interface, it's still a glaring security vulnerability. Should I get privacy filters on my monitor because Netgear couldn't be bothered to mitigate the very real risk that any Tom, Dick, and Harry could literally read the password over my shoulder? What if I took a screenshot of the router main page to send it to someone (for whatever reason)? Should I also accept the fact that the password would be visible to anyone who receives the screenshot and so, I'd have to change the password?
Fix this, Netgear!
