Apple has partnered with multiple manufacturers to bring Homekit management to routers, considering Orbi hardware is sold directly through the Apple store, it seems kind of strange that Netgear has not hopped on this bandwagon. This feature would be extremely useful for Homekit users with Orbi systems.

Still no HomeKit support.. Come on Netgear!! I'll be switching to Linksys Velop with my new routers if you don't update soon!

For anyone wanting to buy a router from a company that does listen to their costumers!

I guess they didn't care....right?
Hi
yes, you're right. No news about it. Netgear will probably never implement such function (even if it would be great to better control smart home accessories )
it would have been great at least to just receive an official answer. I guess they don’t care of their customers and potential new customers

netgear Any response on this? There are so many discussions about this already. Implement HomeKit Support or at least tell us it's never coming. In the future otherwise I will be forced to buy Linksys Velop or a router that actually implemented this.. My 800€ Orbi RBK852 can somehow not support this..

Please add Homekit support to RBK 852.
Homekit support should be included with a router in this price range.
Linksys was able to add it to the Velop. Thanks,
John

I never could have imagined a day I spent $1379.98 ($999.99 on 3 pack and $379.99 on 1 sat) on a router system and can't get features a $200 system came with. I'm so disappointed with Netgear. And you would have thought I learned my lesson seeing how I bought the rbr50 system and had similar problems with new features not hitting it EVER. I'm gonna ride this out until Eero come out with it's "next biggest thing" then im jumping ship.
