Implement OpenVPN client for Orbi

I too purchased an RBK50 in part because it stated that it supports VPN. Obviously additional research would have identified that the VPN capability is only server related, but I also believe that information could have been better identied up front (one sees VPN support and makes assumptions when many features are being considered).

Please implement the OpenVPN client in Orbi. I would like to use a VPN connection without having to configure a VPN client on every device. I have almost 40 connected devices ranging from Alexa and Google devices, Amazon Fire Stick, laptop, tablets, etc.

It would be nice to be able to configure the router on devices to exclude from VPN functionality. Thanks for considering.

I as well request this feature please.. I honestly don't understand why its not implemented yet. The orbi router is the only one who has to handle this work and should be fairly simple.

I am really shocked this isn’t a part of the Orbi system. In this day and age, this should be a no-brainer. This is a must for the Orbi system especially with the price point of the system! Please implement as soon as possible!

Netgear team when orbi system is going to support openvpn client???

The OpenVPN client feature has been added to XR500 Nighthawk Pro Gaming Router and for PureVPN on Nighthawk X4S in R7800 Firmware Version 1.0.2.46. OpenVPN client support would be preferable, as I use a VPN that is not PureVPN. Please add the OpenVPN client support to Orbi too.

I agree, a general OpenVPN client should be developped and implemented in Orbi systems. For the price, I think we bought a high-end router (not a basic one). It should have the common services available, and one of the most important of them is OpenVPN client.

Please Netgear, implement it, and do it a generic way (not just pureVPN, or another).
