Independent access control for Guest and Main networks
Access control on the Orbi today applies to all wireless networks. This is great for devices that you want to ban altogether. But what about the friends of your kids, where your kid has shared the Main network password? I didn't think my kids knew the password, but one of their friends has connected to my main network. I have no problem with the friend being on my guest network, and being able to access the internet. I just want to protect the computers on my main network from any malware that might be on a friend's computer. So I thought, I'll just use access control to block those devices.... wait a minute... I don't see anything about being able to specify that they are only blocked from the main network...
Please consider providing the ability to independently allow/block access to each network. This could be done by adding a drop down labeled "Applies to" to the UI for a given MAC address where you could choose between options that say "Main", "Guest", "Main & Guest".

From my point of view a "must have" feature.

Actually, looking into this further, I believe my daughter's friends may have been connected to the Guest network. But I can't tell. I don't believe the Attached Devices list clarifies which network they are connected to. But I still think that MAC address filtering should be specific to each network - for example, I want to block all but my family from our main network, and I want to block my kids from the guest network. That way they can't circumvent when I shutoff their access to the main network by connecting to the guest network.

I have the same request.
I have secured my main network with a difficult password and 'block any but the listed' option for access control.
However, the access control options also apply for the guest network.
This is not practical at all. Every time a guest comes over that wants to use our WiFi I have to allow them in the Access Control List.
Please make it possible to disable access control for the guest network!
Or use several options, like:
- no access control,
- its own access control,
- use the main networks access control options,
- etc.
If this is not fixed, I sincerely consider getting another MESH-system.

I also think this should be a Must Have feature.
I want to control access to my main network but do not want to Allow each device for my Guest network.

I agree with this feature request: Allow option for Guests with password to access the Guest network without having to add them to the list of allowed devices.

Four years later and still not seeing this. Probably won't. Guest Network doesn't need controls. If users have the password, they will get access to the Guest Network only. No Access Controls needed here.

I have also been waiting for this to be implemented for a long time.
It seems like a normal request for a guest network.I only need controls on my private home network.
The guest network should be open to anyone with the current password.
Very Frustrating.

GN is open for use if it's enabled and a PW is set.
GN is isolated from the main WLAN and only tied to the WAN.
Maybe post in the forums if your having problems getting GN working. There maybe a a problem that needs to be vetted.

Is this being considered or not? I've ended up here looking to see if this was possible. Who needs an isolated network that has the same settings? I need a second network for guests, with different settings.

Anything beyond this, will need to find something that works for you.
