After over six months of "normal" activity, my Orbi suddenly began to record hundreds of invalid Remote Login attempts. Time to panic? Not clear. What would be really helpful would be having the log entry display the invalid password that was used. If I see a sequence of random words, it's pretty clear that someone is using a password file attack. If they are "aaaa", "aaab", "aaac",... then this is a brute force attack, and my 20 character administrative login is pretty secure. If I see passwords that I have used to access other systems, "oh, dear. This is not good!"
