Just want to jump on this bandwagon. It should be fairly straightforward to allow us, the users, to include an additional text or json file (preferred) with the art metadata (Artist, Title, Medium, Year, and description), similar to the thumbnail capability, on the SD card. So if my artwork filename is artwork.jpeg, the metadata file could be artwork.jpeg.json or artwork.jpeg.txt.
