I keep going over 1TB and get charged, would like to see individual device usage on ORBI

Several years later & this is still desperately needed. I paid a lot for the Orbi RBR860 + satellites, & expected this feature would be available from what I thought was a reputable brand.

To monitor usage on individual devices, you can use tools like network monitoring software or built-in features on devices. For example, on Android, you can check app usage in the 'Digital Wellbeing' settings, and on iOS, use 'Screen Time'. For more detailed monitoring, software like Qustodio or Net Nanny can track usage across multiple devices and provide reports.

Like many other customers on here, I really need to be able to see data usage by specific connected device so I can manage my internet usage and detect any anomalies. -- This capability must exist (other third-party apps and Google Home / WiFi can do it), so please listen to your customer base and add this option to your consumer routers.

Please allow us to monitor internet data usage by device connected! I am going over some months and have no way to determine the culprit. I dont want t replace my Orbi, but this is costing me $100 when it goes over! HELP!

It would be incredibly useful to have the ability to monitor the usage on individual devices, especially when it comes to staying within data limits and avoiding unexpected charges. Having this feature for ORBI would greatly enhance the user experience and help with managing data consumption effectively etc.

I am experiencing the identical issue and my router software offers no way to track data up/down by device. Is Netgear going to add this feature? Has anyone found a softwar product that can provide this kind of analysis?

Please add this feature to display usage per device. Xfinity, ASUS, and I'm sure a long list of other routers / AP's already do this. I came over from ASUS to get this 'premium' wireless mesh solution. Now since bandwidth is an issue for me, I feel like I have to go back to ASUS just to gain this simple feature.

I agree with everybody here. I've been in contact with NetGear about this for the last 3 weeks...and they say they only have this feature on their non-consumer products. I think this is strange since consumers need to check device usage so they don't go over their limits. Personally, I've seen spikes in usage (20 to 30 times baseline) that forced me to pay for unlimited data from my ISP. I love the ORBI but this is a feature they should be able to provide since they are aggregating data to give us a Traffic Meter in the app....they just need to disaggregate the data into the individual devices and give us that information. I have a suspicion they could do this but decided not to. What everybody says is to turn off your devices and then turn one on to see if this is the problem. That would be fine if you had 3-5 devices, but with a modern home having maybe 20 or more devices (and will grow to even more in the future) this is an impractical suggestion.
