Other mesh networks such as Eero and soon Luma support hard wiring your sattelites. I think its extremely important Netgear Orbi does the same. Especially for those of us who can.

orbi is no more seamless than any other ap system with the same ssid names
roaming is a client device decision at this stage no matter what system you use
the decision initially by netgear to not include ethernet backhaul was not a mistake , it was how the orbi was designed its that simple
if and i do mean if the orbi does get ethernet backhaul it will be a bonus and will at least shut up those complaining it hasnt got it even though it never claimed it had and most of those that purchased it without first doing their homework some how expected it
