Other mesh networks such as Eero and soon Luma support hard wiring your sattelites. I think its extremely important Netgear Orbi does the same. Especially for those of us who can.
The Orbi like other routers will have the people who like it and these who hate it but like any router you need to make sure it fits your needs a backhaul to it act like access point may or may not change the orbi's performance since it has wireless backhaul look at other routers that do a million things compaired to a simple router the more functions not always a better preformance.
If the wired backhaul is slower then the wireless or the wireless signal is too weak for some reason would the Orbi still be a better deal then a normal router in access point mode ?
