Other mesh networks such as Eero and soon Luma support hard wiring your sattelites. I think its extremely important Netgear Orbi does the same. Especially for those of us who can.
I can't tell you how much time I wasted trying to get Orbi to work at all with one of the satellites wired through Ethernet. I was ready to take the unit back, when I tried one last ditch thing which was disconnecting the Ethernet cable from the satellite. This is not an outlandish setup at all, especially in newer homes that have CAT5e or greater wiring. Please build this support into a future firmware. It's greatly needed along with VPN Client functionality (but I'll post that in a different thread too).
