I have three different Orbi routers registered to my Netgear account. However, whilst it shows all three routers when I log into the smartphone Orbi app, the only way of knowing which router is which is via the serial numbers. This is very annoying when you’re not in close proximity of the router to look up the serial number, and the fact that each router is located in a remote location from each other.
This equally applies when I log into my Netgear Armor Account - each router is only distinguishable by the serial number, or trying to recognise a unique device attached to each router.
Please, please, please would you give customers the option of giving each router a friendly nickname and/or location. This should equally apply to phone apps, the local web browser interface, and the Netgear Armor account.
