Could you please develop the Nighthawk App to be compatible with the C7100V-100NAS gateway? It is frustrating that I can't have any network administration controls for a $300 gateway

Unfortunately, app support depends on firmware and most Netgear cable modem devices do not allow firmware updates. That's down to the ISPs.
You may be able to do remote management using a browser and aimimg that at your modem/router.
