I would like to see this enabled as well. There was a commandline work around for the Orbi system to accomplish this.
The problem I am having is my Oculus Quest flips out after a bit of time and loses the WiFi connection. It's something to do with it momentarily seeing the 2.4 connection as better and attempting to switch. The switch fails and the Quest disconnects. I can sometimes reconnect right away. Sometimes I need to forget the connection and re-enter the password. It's a known issue with the Quest, but Oculus seems disinclined to fix it. When I split the 2.4 and 5 networks on my Orbi the Quest worked great. I need the added WiFi bandwith of the Mesh 6, though.
